MY STORY

I grew up in Southern Virginia surrounded by cooks on both sides of my family. I watched my mom and grandmother prepare food every year for over 200 people for our annual family reunion.  Family and friends looked forward to this as they knew they were about to feast on some real home cooking and the desserts were the topic of conversation.  I always wondered how the desserts could be so good with a pinch of this and eyeballing that!! Only the old school cooks can do that!

I never had much interest in cooking other than making dessert for the holidays.  Recently I decided to go on YouTube and teach myself how to make cake pops. That reminded me of desserts I knew how to make and it sparked an interest in making other desserts.  Who knew I had a sweet thumb 'so to speak' from my momma and grandma's. I'm not old school so I definitely use measurements!

My family started supporting my idea of baking and the entrepreneurship of starting my very own business not to mention taste testing! My friends and co-workers were a huge support by being my first customers and testers as well.

​I currently make cake pops, cupcakes, and other specialized cake desserts. I hope to expand to fondant cakes in the future. What makes me different from other bakers is that I'm not set on just one dessert. I have several options that people love and will add to the menu in the future.
